ADESÃO AO PAC DO CACAU PODE TER NOVA PRORROGAÇÃO

Na reunião de ontém à tarde com os produtores de cacau, em Salvador, representantes do Banco do Brasil e do Banco do Nordeste apresentaram os números reais da adesão ao PAC do Cacau, que visa reestruturar a dívida dos produtores sul-baianos e conceder novos créditos para a lavoura e a diversificação econômica।

Os últimos números revelam que a adesão ao PAC não chegou a 80%, como divulgado pelos agentes financeiros. Ficou em 67%. Ainda não houve nenhuma contratação do programa. De acordo com a Secretaria Estadual de Agricultura (Seagri), o valor da dívida das quatro etapas do programa de recuperação da lavoura cacaueira atinge R$ 482 milhões, envolvendo 6.010 produtores.

Esta dívida atinge R$ 948 milhões quando incluídos o programa de saneamento de ativos (Pesa), securitização e outras linhas de financiamento. A idéia é organizar um mutirão que amplie o número de adesões ao PAC. Os bancos garantiram que quem aderir ao plano não terá executadas suas dívidas de financiamento da lavoura.

O secretário estadual de Agricultura, Roberto Muniz, disse que o governador Jaques Wagner está empenhado para que o PAC do Cacau alcance êxito। Muniz afirmou que o governo estadual apoiará, também, projetos de diversificação econômica। O PAC prevê R$ 2,52 bilhões para o agronegócio na região।
